I started working for the Wrexham Warehouse Project as the Manager in July 2014 when the project gained charity status but I previously worked for the project bringing it up to this point. My job role is to work with all the staff on their individual projects while managing the day to day running of the Charity. Wrexham Warehouse Project is currently in the first stages of applying for funding for our project. Hopefully if successful the charity will keep growing and reaching more and more young people.
Training & Construction Manager
I started working for the Wrexham Warehouse Project as the NEETS training and construction manager in July 2014 when the project gained charity status. My role involves managing a team of young people who go out into the community to do small constructions jobs and in which customers make a small donation to sustain the project. It gives the young people valuable training and work experience. With the support of companies, councils and people in the communities I know it can grow to be a vital service which benefits the community and young people
Cre8 Training Support Worker
I have worked for a building company Universal Builders for ten years and have a vast experience and knowledge in all areas of construction. I came on board at the Wrexham Warehouse Project in September 2014, as the training support worker to work with trainee’s that join us on the CRe8 program. I will be showing them how to be proficient in plastering, joinery and painting and decorating. With my expertise and future training I plan to do, this project can grow to help many young people back into education, employment or training.
