High Sheriff visits the Wrexham Warehouse Project!
The High Sheriff of Clwyd, Mrs Janet Evans, has recently paid a visit to the Summer Activity Programme run by Wrexham Warehouse Project to see how Crimebeat funding was helping to support local young people. The programme was put together between the Wrexham Warehouse Project and local PCSO’s to tackle anti social behaviour in the Gwersyllt area.
During her visit the High Sheriff was able to see the many and varied activities that are available and heard directly from the staff about the value of the programme. They told her that without these activities there would be little for the young people to do during the summer holiday period.
With the Crimebeat funding the project was able to open up every Friday evening over the summer holidays and provide the young people from the Gwersyllt area with lots of activities like football, cookery, Xbox and pool tournaments and painting.
We would like to thank Mrs Janet Evans for taking the time to visit the project and her continued support.
